| 凯瑟琳‧芭托Kathleen Battle (女高音) *完整10CD之产品，让不曾体验凯瑟琳・芭托魅力的乐迷得以领受其天籁般的美好歌声。 *在精神导师李汶协助下，芭托的演唱生涯始自1973年；李汶更表示：「我却从没有遇到过比她拥有更完整才华的人」。 *华盛顿邮报称其为「世上少有的最美歌声之一」。 传奇女高音凯瑟琳・芭托（Kathleen Battle）演唱生涯中，曾在大都会歌剧院演唱超过220场。先前曾超过20年不曾现身大都会歌剧院，如今将于2016年11月17日再度登台献艺。为此SONY唱片公司特别整理她的所有专辑，收集成这一套10张CD之产品，让不曾体验其魅力的乐迷得以领受其天籁般的美好歌声。 芭托令人印象深刻的演唱生涯始自1973年，在精神导师李汶（James Levine）协助下，于他们共同的故乡辛辛那提正式启航。从此她的演唱事业不断翻越高峰：曾获得五座葛莱美奖之肯定，1985年在伦敦柯芬园演出史特劳斯的《纳克索斯岛的阿丽雅德妮》获得奥利佛奖，为首位获此殊荣的美国歌唱家。华盛顿邮报称其为「世上少有的最美歌声之一」。 专辑包含芭托9张最受推崇的录音室作品，其中最早的录音是1984年由马捷尔指挥维也纳爱乐管弦乐团所演出的马勒第四号交响曲，BBC音乐杂志评论本录音为「最伟大的马勒《第四号交响曲》之一…芭托在终乐章『神奇魔号』的旋律中圣洁的演唱，予人纯粹的喜悦！」 专辑中大部分的录音都完成于一九九〇年代，当时芭托已经鲜少在歌剧院中露脸，只在音乐会与独唱会中现身。而这个时期她也跨足通俗歌曲、爵士、民谣、黑人灵歌等非古典的曲目。更特别的是她还曾与爵士小喇叭演奏家马沙利斯（Wynton Marsalis）合作巴洛克音乐专辑，演出巴哈、韩德尔与史卡拉第的作品。 1991年于卡内基音乐厅现场录制的圣诞专辑，邀请了次女高音冯・史黛德（Von Stade）一同演出最受欢迎的圣诞节庆选曲，并由普列文（André Previn）指挥圣路克管弦乐团伴奏。而同年她也与长笛大师朗帕尔（Jean-Pierre Rampal）在林肯中心举办音乐会。留声机杂志表示：「芭托铃声般的纯净音色本身便是一件令人愉悦的事…其流畅性与均衡度，及完美稳定的歌声都值得赞赏，而这些在当今更不常见」。美国唱片指南更进一步表示：「她那高贵、纯粹的抒情女高音音色与长笛搭配完美…一且都很优美、花腔也都完美到位，几个高音更犹如钻石闪耀」。 1995年出版的「天使的荣耀」，成功地与吉他演奏家克里斯托弗．帕肯宁（Christopher Parkening）演出黑人灵歌与传统圣乐作品。古典音乐网（ClassicalNet）表示：「她是一位罕见的艺术家之一，你总是会为她起立致敬…优美的演唱、精致的分句，以及敏锐的音乐性」。 这一套10张CD的专辑也整理了以往她在RCA唱片公司的重要录音，包括了1977年她在Ravinia音乐节所演唱的巴哈《婚礼清唱剧》，以及布拉姆斯《德意志安魂曲》中女高音独唱的部分。由经常与她合作的李汶指挥芝加哥交响乐团伴奏。回想起第一次遇到芭托时，美国最重要的指挥李汶表示：「有些歌手少有天分却拥有智能来平衡技巧与音乐性的问题。有些则拥有天分与优美的歌声，却缺乏智慧。而我却从没有遇到过比她拥有更完整才华的人」。 |
